We got a call just a few days before the Lifetime Grand Prix’s Little Sugar here in northwest Arkansas. The call was from Cole Paton and his prototype Giant Anthem had been cracked on the plane during his flight to XNA. The goal was to have a rideable bike as soon as possible. Aesthetics didn’t matter and getting this bike to the start line was the only priority. We drove up to pick up the bike at about 10 am and by noon the next day we delivered a repaired and painted finished product that would end up not only being raced, but also used for photoshoots in the days prior to the race. We had to sit on this story until Giant officially released the Anthem. So, while we are a little late to the party when it comes to sharing this project, we are beyond proud to “save the day” when no repair meant no race start. Special thanks to Cole as well as the entire Giant team that had no real option but to trust that we can hit the mark when it matters most.
