We first got our hands on this Specialized Tarmac SL8 after an unfortunate mid-race crash causing the headtube to be structurally compromised. The turnaround time was tight at about 48 hours and we had no time for body work or any sort of paint work leaving this frame functional and sturdier than ever, but rather ugly. After successfully winding down a solid race season, this rider finally had time to drop this bike back by our workshop for a facelift. Photos below show before the repair, after structural restoration, and finally after the paint was color matched and blended restoring this SL8 back to factory settings.
